SLIDE VIEWER

I hope that ultimately my experimentations with film slides will result in a projection. But, for the time being, while I wait to get hold of a projector I am viewing them on a slide viewer. It is surprising how drastically the images can change by simply adding a backing light and slight enlargement. Small, intricate textures have the potential to turn into flat, and somewhat clumsy enlargements. The delicately woven strips of film become 2 dimensional stripes. This translation from image to enlargement/projection is vital to the process, and something I need to develop.
