I decided early on, after seeing the Pullens Centre, that I wanted to use the pillars in the centre of the space as part of my piece.
Not yet getting hold of a timer for my slide projector also meant that I'd have to think outside of the box if I wanted to project something. So I'm planning on hanging various pieces from the ceiling (at different distances from the projector) in order to create a recognisable silhouette. I feel this on its own would be a little static, so I'm planning on perhaps attaching the wings to clock mechanisms attached to the pillars. When attached to the pendulums, this will hopefully resemble the flapping of a birds wings.
