This morning eleven of us went as a group to visit the Pullens Centre (where we plan to hold a group exhibition) in Southwark. This is the first time we have all been there together, and possibly the last time, before we set up the exhibition in two weeks time. After having a look around we discussed themes and curation of the work, and took vital measurements and photographs of our chosen areas.

The space I have allocated is on the ground floor, underneath the stairs, it's slightly darkened there, and feels somewhat separated from the rest of the room. At the moment the space is taken up by quite a bit of clutter (chairs, tables and an unplugged fridge) but once I've cleaned it out, I can see it becoming an interesting space. I have very little idea on what I'm going to create at the moment, I think it will involve projection using my slide projector, but as I am yet to attain a timer for it, I will have to think outside of the box on what to project. I hope to create something site specific to this space, and I'm particularly interested in using the two pillars in the centre of the space to my advantage. Whatever I decide to create, I had better get working as the exhibition opens on Tuesday 5th March.
